God is ominipresent
God is omnipresent.
That means that he is everywhere all the time, all at once. There's nowhere he is not. And that is such great comfort. I'm a homeschool mother of seven, I have launched six. In addition, we have three grandkids. So let me just tell you, I love knowing that God is everywhere all the time, all at once.
And when I know they're having a bad day, when they text me they are having a bad day, or ask me to please pray, or when I know they're having a bad day, and they haven't texted and I'm praying, I can know that they're not alone.
And I can assure them when they're walking down life's path, the difficult things in life, I can know that he is with them.
When I have friends whose children are walking off into a far country, or I put my husband on a plane on a business trip, or there's someone that I miss, and I can't find a way to get in touch with them, I can know that they are not alone, no matter what their circumstance, no matter what their situation, no matter their sin, if they are in obedience or disobedience, I can know with surety that they are not alone, that HE IS WITH THEM.
And that's a glorious thing.
